2. Structure of Association

2.1 National Body

  • Governing authority for all cricket activities under SCAI
  • Organizes National Championships
  • Issues official rules, policies & certifications

2.2 State Units

  • Operate under SCAI authorization
  • Conduct district & state-level trials and tournaments
  • Select players for National participation

2.3 District Units (Optional)

  • Work under State Units
  • Responsible for grassroots talent identification

3. State to National Integration Guidelines

3.1 Registration of State Units

  • Must be officially registered with SCAI
  • Submit required documents (committee details, registration proof, etc.)
  • Follow SCAI constitution and policies

3.2 Player Selection Process

  • Transparent trials at District/State level
  • Merit-based selection only
  • Maintain official records of trials and performances

3.3 Tournament Structure

  • District → State → National pathway
  • Only selected State teams can participate in Nationals
  • Each State must send an official squad approved by SCAI

3.4 Communication

  • All State Units must maintain regular communication with National body

4. Player Guidelines

4.1 Eligibility

  • Must be a school student
  • Must fall under the respective age category (U-14, U-16, U-17, U-19, etc.)
  • Valid age proof required

4.2 Registration

  • Mandatory registration with SCAI
  • Submit complete form with personal details, school details, parent consent, and ID proof

4.3 Code of Conduct

  • Maintain discipline on and off the field
  • Respect coaches, officials & fellow players
  • No use of abusive language or misconduct

4.4 Performance & Fitness

  • Maintain physical fitness standards
  • Attend practice sessions regularly
  • Follow team management instructions

4.5 Fair Play Policy

  • Strictly no cheating or unfair means
  • Zero tolerance for doping or age fraud

5. Officials & Coaches Guidelines

  • Must be qualified or approved by SCAI
  • Ensure fair selection and unbiased decisions
  • Promote sportsmanship and discipline

6. Tournament Rules (Basic)

  • Matches conducted as per standard cricket rules
  • Use of proper equipment & dress code mandatory
  • Match officials’ decisions are final

7. Disciplinary Actions

  • Warning / Suspension / Ban for misconduct, age fraud, and indiscipline
  • Final decision rests with SCAI National Committee
